Web Development Guru

We are looking for someone who is passionate about web development.

You will need to have the following skills:
• Strong HTML, CSS, PHP & MySQL skills including understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Experience working with Javascript, JQuery
• Experience with CMSs like Drupal & WordPress
• Ability to work both within a team and independently
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines
• Basic understanding of SEO

But above all, you will need:
• A very positive attitude
• Be able to communicate well
• Be open to work in a fast paced, start-up like environment, and adhere to quick
turnaround times, including working in a close-knit team

Some of the things you would have done in last 6 weeks if you were at Langoor:
• You would have worked on some cutting edge concepts including a group buying site
• You would have had chance to create your own wordpress plugin
• You would have created some nifty Javascript to support a client
• You would help us with feedback on our own system - langoor.net (in terms of themes/databases)
• You would have owned a few projects right from the beginning to the delivery
• You would have trained a few clients on some of the systems we created for them

Hopefully this gives you an idea of the type of work that is involve.

In terms of your experience, 1-2 years of experience is a bonus, but not mandatory.

Graphics/Web Dev Freelancers

We're after graphic and/or front-end web designers. We need you to start immediately and help us on a few projects we are working on at the moment. If we enjoy working with you, you will have the opportunity to work with us on an ongoing basis.

We are after one or more people that are Graphic Designers and/or Front-end engineers.

You need to be comfortable with at least one of the following:
• the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash)

Senior Development Gurus

We are after really quality developers to work at our Bangalore office. You will work on cutting edge technologies ranging from LAMP, AJAX based frameworks, mobile technologies and databases.

The person we are currently after will be a Senior Development Guru with the following characteristics:

• Excellent at Algorithms (independent of programming languages)
• Support the architecture/design of our products and services
• Can get hands dirty in code from different frameworks as appropriate
• Can Maintain the quality of code
• Extensive experience/Fluent with at least 3 of the following : PHP5, MySQL5, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/JQuery, Object Oriented Programming Ruby, C, C++
• Understanding of Web Networks, Frameworks, System Architectures and Database

It will be an advantage if:
• you have Experience in server-side coding and integration
• Set up web based architectures, load balancing or have some experience in them (including Database Design)
• Developed your own web based software/CMS
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence is a bonus
• An entrepreneurial instinct (i.e. enjoy decision making and being a leader in their own right
• 2-3 years of experience in one of the following -

> Mobile Web Development > Database Design & Support >Front-End Engineering

You will be working with PHP, MySQL and Mobile and desktop based web interfaces creating artificial intelligence based algorithms for visual interfaces.
